The Department of Kurdish Linguistics and Literature was established with the objective of conducting rigorous, fundamental, and scientific studies of the Kurdish language and its literary heritage. By integrating precise linguistic analyses—such as syntax, morphosyntax, typology, and the dialectology of Iranian languages—with an in-depth exploration of Kurdish literary trends and history, the department provides a comprehensive academic platform for advanced research.
